This final episode of this star-studded version of The Traitors was mistakenly made available by international broadcasters prior to its scheduled UK broadcast on Thursday night, according to official sources.

It is understood that the finale was viewed by a few hundred viewers of the streaming service the streaming service in Canada; they could view it for a couple of hours until it was removed.

This episode being uploaded was not a error by the original broadcaster, and a representative for the company asked those who think they have discovered the result of the series to "avoid sharing potential spoilers".

"We kindly ask those who thinks they know the outcome of the celebrity edition to hold any information they have to themselves," the announcement said.

"We ask you to refrain from sharing any spoilers so that the vast audience who have been faithfully following every twist and turn of the series can enjoy the final this night."

The Celebrity Traitors is presently the top-rated TV program of the year, with an mean of 12.6 million viewers over the initial installments.
