Healing from Light Wounds Joshua had been receiving medical attention while recuperating from non-critical injuries, his management team confirmed on Monday. A government official, Gbenga Omotoso, announced via a post on social media that Joshua was deemed clinically fit to leave and heal privately. “The boxer and his mother were at the mortuary in Lagos this afternoon to pay their final respects to his two departed friends as they were being prepared for repatriation,” Omotosho said. Remembering the Victims The victims of the crash were named as Latif Ayodele, Joshua's trainer, and Sina Ghami, a strength and conditioning coach. It was also noted that the boxer was “heavy-hearted and full of emotions over the tragic loss of his two trusted companions.” His release from the hospital comes as the sports world shared its support for the star in the wake of the heartbreaking incident.
